Checkpoint 3 Wrap Up!

Believe it or not, we've just made it through our 3rd and final Checkpoint before the Bash next week!
You feeling that tingle of glory on your upper lip yet? We hope so. You've already raised almost $2,000 for the kids - and there's still plenty of time to raise even more!

Checkpoint 3: Tonight!
Howdy!
Somehow Checkpoint 2 flew right by...and Checkpoint 3 is already upon us! We'll see your happy faces at Roadside Attraction at 7pm to talk Bash deets, have a few drinks, and take some glamour shots!

Week 1 Re-Cap!
Can you believe we've made it through the week-one growth mark already? We can't. Even more impressive? Our extra hairy, extra charitable Growers have already raised about $700 for kids in need!
So this week - when your 'stache hits that awkward pubescent stage before full 'stachehood, when you get suspicious looks from upstanding passers-by, or see that twinge of discomfort from every lady you meet - just remember: you're doing it for the kids. And you're doing a great job!
Even more 'stachetastic? The good people at Vendetta are donating 10% of their proceeds from Thursday night's Checkpoint to our cause! Couple that with all the fund raising skills you've got up your sleeves, and we'll have a very successful Growing Season. Guaranteed.
For those of you didn't get a chance to stop by Vendetta, we escaped from the rain, exchanged week-one mustache war stories, enjoyed a few beers, and had some fun with shuffle board. Here are some photographic nuggets of gold for your amusement:

Meet 'n Greet Re-Cap!!
We were quite pleased to see some of your shining faces at Red Flag last night for our little Meet 'n Greet. For those of you who missed out, we'll re-cap:
We exchanged mustache war stories with M4K vets who are back to grow with us once more, we did some grade-A, high-class Grower recruiting at the bar, discussed the logistics of growing mustaches for charity, enjoyed a spotlight visit from a KOIN cameraman, and drank some beers. Some of us even ran down the street to Bishops to get our Hot Shave on. Big night!
We can't wait to see you next week for more mustache antics at Checkpoint 1 - 7pm at Vendetta (4306 N Williams)!
